Saint Eloi

Cuvilly’s parish belongs to the diocese of Beauvais.  The church is dedicated to Saint Eloi, patron of silversmiths and blacksmiths.  Father Dangicourt, a young priest who will play a significant role for Julie, arrives in Cuvilly, in 1759, as an assistant and becomes the pastor in 1765.
